Responsibilities for Maintenance TechnicianoProvide support outside normal working hours, if necessary, and provide weekend support on rotation with fellow Maintenance TechniciansoRespond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safe work practicesoEnsures assigned task are completed efficiently, cost effectively and in a timely manner.
oConduct repairs and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsoConduct repairs and maintenance of fuel oil dispensers and related fueling equipmentoConduct repairs and maintenance of food service equipmentoConduct repairs and maintenance of structural systems such as roofs, walls, doors, ceilings, etc.
oSupport the setup and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and conduct repairs when necessaryRequirements:
Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:
Qualified applicants shall possess the following:
oPossess a valid State driver's license and a clean driving recordoHigh school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plusoBasic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsoMinimum 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician or in related fieldoEPA Certification in accordance with 40 CFR Part 82oPhysically capable of lifting 50 poundsoA strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methodsoExperience in operating a variety of equipment, including man lift, dump trailer, pump trailer, and small hand tools to name a fewoA strong working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and metering devicesoOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsoExcellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Communication Fine Motor Skills Hvac Maintenance Medical Emergency Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
